For nearly 50 years, Wayne Engineering of Cedar Falls, Iowa, has been a leading manufacturer of chassis-mounted productivity solutions for the solid waste industry. In 2006 Wayne Engineering came under the new ownership of Wayne Industrial Holdings (WIH), and with it, a new management team. This change has resulted in many exciting and new developments as well as continued growth.
In addition, WIH established Wayne Sweepers, LLC and acquired two well-established street sweeping product lines; the Gladiator mechanical sweeper and the air-assisted, PM-10 certified Centurion. Wayne Sweepers now shares the same corporate office and manufacturing space as Wayne Engineering, providing a greater synergy of engineering expertise and added efficiency in fabricating and assembly.
